Hi! I'm really glad you've here. Let me share a little bit about myself...
I’m here because I want to offer my gifts to everyone. I believe we’re all connected, not just to each other but to the earth, the animals and plants on it, and our earth is connected to the solar system, the galaxy, and beyond. This is not a new concept. As above, so below.
I’ve always been interested in the idea of fractals in nature (and in our lives). An art project I did for my final year at University explored this by photographing macro objects on the ground and from textures in nature and the city, painted the outlines and framed them like maps. Life is recursive, the micro echoing the macro. The same is true of the ecosystems on earth, our place in them, and earth’s place in the solar system.
This is why I have the offerings I do! It has evolved naturally out of my obsession with how everything is connected, I was naturally drawn to complexity and followed my passion, fascinated by how these two practices both benefit our understanding of the web of reality and of ourselves. I think of it a bit like nesting dolls…us in the middle of the life on earth and life on earth in the middle of the solar system.
Life can feel incredibly chaotic, and it is…but that’s the beauty. Figuring out where we fit here is incredibly liberating and an act of defiance and rebellion in the face of subversive and prohibitive institutions and systems built around us without our consent. I did not get to opt out of late stage capitalism, of the patriarchy, or of anything built around us. But what I, and you, CAN do is to discover more about ourselves and about nature, to learn and grow through discovery and empathy, connection and knowledge.
I believe that everything is political and spiritual yet at the same time being just exactly as you see it. It’s both. It’s a paradox.
